We are now looking for a Shipping Logistics Coordinator to strengthen our Customer Service Team for Business Region Denmark.
What will you do?
Our Customer Service Team for Business Region Denmark handles everything that has to do with the booking process for our customers. As Shipping Logistics Coordinator you will ensure that the business is moving as planned while having a close eye on the service level. You will proactively work with the customers to meet their expectations through second to none customer service and operational dialogue. In this role you work closely with sales in the area Shipping Logistics with offers, tenders, statistics and other necessary information that supports their daily work. You will also be a part of our Freight booking department when necessary.
Some of your daily tasks:
• Be responsible for the transport in the whole logistic chain
• Plan and book with all types of transports that are needed. Truck, train or vessel. Have an overview so correct transportation is used
• Coordinate with partners & suppliers as necessary to deliver promised solution to the customers
• Time planning towards customers and providers with loading, unloading
• Proactively work with the customers to meet their expectations through second to none customer service and operational dialog. Close contact with Shipping Logistics customers
• Invoicing and handle supplier invoices
• Request quotes for transport and assist in working with new tenders to customers
• Responsible for imbalanced bookings for Freight department in Business Region Denmark
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in transport and logistics. You have the ability to work in a structured manner and focusing on finding the best solutions for our customers, even on the busiest of days. Great cooperation with customers and clients is a given thing. You are open to new ideas and ways to improve our processes and business. As a person you are driven, self-motivated and have a proactive mind-set as well as a great way of dealing with customers.
We believe you have an education in international logistics, transportation or equivalent work experience. You have a few years of experience working with transport planning and forwarding. Since we deal with international customers you should be fluent in English as well as Swedish. You are system savvy, and it is a big plus if you have worked with our system in use; Cargo IT.
