hela Sverige The position holder has the overall responsibility for the service sales and retail development in a market area that comprises the Indian subcontinent (excl. Pakistan) and Indonesia.
The responsibility is executed through managing an effective cooperation between Volvo Trucks, our local business partners, and their mix of fully owned and private dealers.
We are looking for a key person to join our lean organization and management team in developing a network where services and retail excellence delivers high customer satisfaction, sustainable profitability and growth into new businesses.
Main activities and responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Translate retail and service market strategies to key focus areas
Set and align the agenda for our parts offer, service offer and retail development
Provide direction for and expectations on the local partners' business plans
Prioritize market requests towards Volvo Trucks central functions
Establish agreement on the required support resources from Volvo Trucks
Manage the cooperation between Volvo Trucks and the importers/distributors/dealers
Follow-up on agreed plans and deliverables and request corrective actions
Ensure quality and compliance in accordance with Retail Operating standards
Drive P&L performance with the appropriate offering, commercial terms and support
Monitor financial and operational KPI's and provide reporting analysis upon request
Monitor the Quality & Warranty process and performance
Coordinate and align policies with other Business Areas in the Volvo Group
Align improvement/project activities with local Business Units organisations
Evaluate potential business partners for areas where Volvo Trucks are not represented
Qualifications and critical competencies for the position
A good understanding of the retail business environment
Broad knowledge of functional areas within the service and retail development
Sufficient product-, process- and business system knowledge to represent function
Prestige-less and team-oriented leadership style
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to network efficiently and build enduring business relationships across a diverse customer base in different time-zones
Experience of coaching and leading remote and through others
Knowledge and experience of change management within retail is meriting
Earlier experience from working with or in the market area is meriting
Fluent in English. Indian languages or Bahasa are meriting
