Volvo Penta's Industrial Service Market team is growing with a new role - Digital Experience Lead to drive and accelerate our digitalization transformation within the Industrial Business Unit (IBU). As Digital Experience Lead you will take a central role in securing our internal and external customers and Business Partners (OEMs and Dealers) needs and requirements in the development of various digital customer facing interfaces and processes. You will be the voice of the Industrial Service Market customer in the creation of the digital customer journey for various platforms, systems, and processes.
Volvo Penta is driving a strong change agenda when it comes to meeting tomorrow's expectations on digital interfaces and modern network strategy. This role will play a central part in enabling this by driving development of the digital partner network and what and how our business partners access vital Volvo Penta information to support their operation.
Main Responsibilities
The aim for this role is to strongly contribute to the increased pace and impact of digital presence. Both through supporting the current and future business needs but also by capturing new business opportunities, as well as better leveraging on our existing business setup. Create a clear Industrial digital direction.
The Digital Experience Lead will be accountable for the early development phases. The role will be defining the digital vision based on business partner needs. You will be the Industrial Service Market main contact in appointed strategical projects, as well as securing the roll out and follow up of these solutions.
In this role you will be working both strategically and operationally across the organization. You will have the consolidated responsibility to secure the Industrial Service Market digital needs in various projects. A big part is also to secure the roll out towards Market Units and Partner network. The role enjoys a huge contact network within and outside the organization.
The role will work in a context of both traditional systems development, e-Com, master data quality and development of Digital interfaces of Services to just mention a few areas.
Shape the Industrial digital customer journey together with stakeholders such as Global Parts and Services (GP&S) and Digital & IT (D&IT)
Drive and manage a close communication and collaboration with Market Units and Business Partners (Dealers and OEMs) to understand needs and requirements
Set and manage the Industrial Service Market prioritization of digital needs
Be the main Industrial Business Unit (IBU) contact person for funneling change requests and functionality upgrade needs for the current digital interface for business partners (Volvo Penta Partner Network (VPPN))
Represent Industrial Business Unit (IBU) in the development of our next generation digital front end for our business partners by Define the strategic direction of the digital interfaces for our business partner together with Global Parts and Services and D&IT
Represent Industrial Business Unit (IBU) in the development phases of digital deliveries, could be systems but also pure processes in new ways of working
Be the rollout manager of new tools and processes from piloting to full rollout
KPI setting and follow-up for usage of new tools and performance
Develop and maintain lasting relationships with stakeholders, centrally and out at our Market Units to get a close understanding of our Business Partners and end customers' needs
Take active part in key decision forums that are driving / steering towards the strategic digital agenda
About you:
The ideal candidate has a strong business mindset, great experience of digital implementations and project managemental skills turning needs into solutions.
A team player and knowledge sharer with strong networking skills
You are a doer and find your way in an organization, feeling comfortable working individually or as part of a cross functional team
Project management skills
Experience working with digital business transformation - such as utilizing customer journeys to drive digital transformation, service design, and technologies such as data analytics, eCommerce, customer facing app development etc.
Experience in leading change in an international context from either line positions, management consulting or both
Ability to quickly understand customer needs and translate them into business, operational and technical opportunities
Fluent in English
Bachelor's degree in business or IT, relevant for this position
