As the SVP Human Resources in Volvo Penta it is your role to translate business strategy and Group HR Strategy into HR-plans and HR-activities that drive the delivery of our business goals. You are also responsible for providing strategic HR advice to senior management as well as HR Business Partners and HR professionals around the world.
You are part of the Volvo Penta Executive Management team and will be an active contributor to the fulfillment of the company's tactical plan.
You are also a member of Volvo Group HR Council and an active contributing member of various steering committees and working groups in the Volvo Group and Volvo Penta.
You will report to the President Volvo Penta and be located at Volvo Penta's headquarters in Gothenburg.
Main activities and responsibilities:
• Initiate, develop and decide strategy, objectives and measurements for Volvo Penta's HR function that support the delivery of Volvo Penta's business goals
• Lead and motivate the Human Resources team and together with them achieve the HR business plan and objectives
• Secure leadership sourcing, talent development, succession planning, performance management, compensation & benefits and strategic competence
• Drive the development of a culture with high ethical standards in line with the Volvo Group values
• Advise, challenge and support Volvo Penta's senior management on HR and related matters
• Manage effective labor and employee relations within Volvo Penta seeking mutual benefits
• Represent Volvo Penta in the Volvo Group HR community.

Profile:
• Extensive professional experience in Human Resource Management in international and multicultural environments and strategic and operational HR management (10+ years)
• An inspirational business oriented leader with proven ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
• An effective contributor in a management team
• Strong professionalism and high integrity
• Strong communication skills and excellent presentation, networking and interpersonal skills
• Managerial courage
• Fluency in written and spoken English
