About the Role:
As a Senior Test and Verification Engineer, you will be a part of a cross-functional team using agile methodology to create medical software applications. You will drive the quality assurance activities through testing and verification, working closely with back-end developers and product owner. You will support continuous integration processes to ensure our products meet requirement and design specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle with a quality perspective
• Develop automated test cases to cover design input and define test activities suitable for different situations
• Create relevant test strategy and test design for different level of the products
• Create and maintain all test and verification artefacts (specifications and reports)
• Perform testing on all our product platforms
• Perform test planning and contribute with release activities
• Write detailed and clear problem reports and provide information to analyse and prioritise them by severity and impact and help to find the root cause of issues
• Participating in design discussions
• Participating in activities for improving engineering practices, tools, infrastructure and other quality system processes and deliverables
Who are You?
• Master or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study.
• Experience as a SW Test and Verification Engineer with at least 8 years of test and verification of software applications, including knowledge of strategy and planning methods.
• Must have work experience in Postman.
• ISTQB certification is required.
We are Looking for Someone Who has:
• Equipped with excellent problem-solving skills and you pay attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
• You should be the hub in the team meaning that it is you that is talk to the product owner and the developers to collect information
• Working effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Experience with automation testing frameworks and CD/CI
• Experience with back-end and microservice testing and automation tools
• Experience with application lifecycle management (ALM), change management and issue tracking tools (Jira)
• Good understanding of programming concepts and languages such as Kotlin are required
• Previous experience with medical devices or safety critical software development
• Knowledge about standards and regulatory requirements
• Experience with non-functional (security/performance/usability/maintainability) testing is required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
