Let us describe the challenge we offer
Senior SW Developer - Steering The Decelaration & Steering ART (Agile Release Train), is a part of Vehicle Platform. The Steering teams are responsible for the vehicle steering functions and we develop steering functions for conventional and AD controlled vehicles. We have both in-house and supplier developed SW solutions. We research future systems for our portfolio such as Steer by Wire and Rear Wheel Steering. We work with platform solutions where we strive to lead and shape the development on future shared platforms between Volvo, Polestar, Geely and Lotus.
Who We Are? We are Aurora, an inhouse SW development team, consists of highly skilled engineers inspiring and developing high quality Steering SW and functions using Model-Based and C/C++ programming language.

Competence and experience are important, but personality and potential are key
We are looking for you that have passion for SW with several years of hands on experience in SW development. You enjoy working close to the product and testing your theories in practice. You are creative and want to contribute to a positive and constructive atmosphere in the team. You have good communication and documentation skills in English and if you don't already speak Swedish, you have it as a personal objective to do so.
How can you contribute in the team? Through being engaged in the team's objectives and strive to develop quality assured and safe functionality. Always strive to improve both processes and products by learning from mistakes. Contribute to the development of the steering experience by participating in the development of technology and competence strategies. Quality in how and what you do is important for you to assure a safe product delivered on time to meet our customer 's need.
You have a M.Sc. in Controls and Mechatronics, Electronical or Computer Science Engineering. You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and have a driving license (B) and drives on a regular basis. You don't mind and you have the ability to travel. Teamwork is important for you and you like bringing out the best in others.
You have more than 3 years of hands on experience on following:
Object-Oriented programming with C++, GIT/Gerrit, Scripting with Python, Debugging and fault tracing in embedded SW, Matlab/Simulink, Autosar, Linux, C programming language and finally SW Quality Asurance
