Work Description
LK Valves is looking for a senior sales person, passionate about sales, building relationships and breaking into new markets. The position is based in Helsingborg with the world as your field of operation. You will have full responsibility for the sales development of our entire product portfolio in certain geographical areas and customers segments.

LK Valves is currently in an interesting development phase, where the company's growth and increased market share is expected to come from more direct sales to shipbuilders all over the world and from having a stronger own product portfolio in place.

As senior sales person you should have an immediate impact on our growth. Your main areas of responsibility are:
• Direct sales to shipyards in a number of geographical areas and to certain customers segments in EMEA and the Americas.
• Creating business opportunities by presenting value adding solutions to important stakeholders and influencers in our industry, e.g. ship-owners, operators and designers.

In some specific markets we are working through partners whom you support with competence, necessary sales and marketing tools as well as in-market visits.

The job requires travelling, at least 70 days per year, as the world is your field of operation.

Your Profile
You need to be passionate about technical sales and it is a great advantage with a background in the marine industry. You have an extensive experience in sales, a strong track record of building new accounts and breaking into new markets. An ability to influence on different and all levels of your accounts is crucial to your success.

Excellent English, both verbally and in writing, is a prerequisite and if you speak other languages it is beneficial.

Irrespective your background and experience you have to be able to work in a small, but dynamic and ambitious team. You must consider it a personal and professional development to build a strong sales network as well as being involved in the development of our company.

You are down-to-earth and a team player, yet have high capacity, are curious, straightforward and self-motivated in your daily work. Besides that you need to be able to set up a business plan and execute it in a disciplined way. To be successful you must have the curiosity and will to fully understand the marine industry, our customers as well as our products and their applications.
