We are looking for an experienced International Sales Director to join our Marketing & Sales Airborne unit focusing on Airborne Early Warning & Control systems (AEW&C), fighter radar, missile data links and laser rangefinders. The unit consists of 8-10 people.
As International Sales Director you will work in close cooperation with Saab Market Area 's through the whole Winning Business process, from initial contacts during business development and offerings to negotiations and signing of contracts. You will have close interaction with the different programs and product owners, business development and strategy team, finance and commercial as well as Saabs management to define and execute a succesfull win-strategy to secure business.
The role means being able to manage both large scale complex offerings as well as standard offerings of the product portfolio towards both new and existing customers.
The job requires travelling, mainly outside Sweden. These travels can both be related to specific customer interactions as well as general marketing events such as exhibitions and tradeshows.

Your profile
We are looking for a person with excellent business understanding and leadership skills with experience from complex strategic international sales. As a person, you have good ability to develop relationships and networks, but also to keep focus on pushing sales efforts forward until closing of contract.
Analytical skills are very important not only to understand the customer requirements and system solutions, but also to manage all the financial analysis and impact of our proposals.
Technical or business degree from university and/or experience from marketing and sales of complex systems on export market in an international market.
Excellent presenter and communication skills.
Since you will have mainly international customers you will have to manage English in a business environment both orally and in writing, Swedish or another Scandinavian language is very much preferable.

What you will be a part of
Business area Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and command and control solutions.
Business unit Radar Solutions has global responsibility for Saab's airborne surveillance solutions and fighter radar, as well as ground-based and naval surface radar systems. The business unit is also responsible for missile datalinks and laser rangefinders. The unit has around 1100 employees and offices around the world, with the largest sites being Gothenburg and Syracuse.
Marketing & Sales unit Radar Solution is responsible for all marketing and sales activites withing winning business to secure customer contracts, ranging from system solutions to services business. The unit work closely with our Product Units and other Business Areas within Saab, as well as Saab 's different Market Areas. Marketing & Sales Radar Solution has around 40 employees.
