hela Sverige We are now looking for experienced Project Managers to join the Business Reporting IT (BRIT) unit within Group Functions IT. Bring your passion for development and great project management skills to a role where you will drive and executive key IT projects within our development portfolio.
We believe in close cooperation, knowledge sharing and active support within the project manager's community. This means working together towards the goals of the unit - to increase quality of decision making by creating top benchmark solutions supporting management and statutory reporting.
The position we offer
Group Functions IT is a division responsible for the full IT value chain in Nordea Group Functions. We have the responsibility for development, maintenance and operations of all IT applications in Group Functions. Business Reporting IT (BRIT) is a unit within Group Functions IT that is a key part of the development of the common reporting and analysis services within Nordea.
When joining us as Senior Project Manager, you become part of the dedicated Portfolio Planning and Delivery (PPD) team within BRIT focusing on ensuring internal capability and capacity for driving change through effective management of the IT development portfolio and build-up of internal project management community.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing key IT projects within the BRIT development portfolio. This includes:
• Handling projects where you either drive an idea from maturation all the way to project closure, or drive an initiative through the execution phase after maturation completion.
• Together with your colleagues shaping the executional project management framework.
• Mentoring junior project manager talents to achieve your level of professionalism and expertise.
The position is located in Stockholm, but you have the willingness to travel when needed for your project.
The qualifications you need
We believe that you are a passionate Project Manager with strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders on different levels in the organisation. To work in a fluid and multicultural environment is something you appreciate, and you are comfortable in running projects with cross-border team members.
When it comes to your skills and experiences, we believe that you have:
• At least five years of experience in pure project management work.
• A proven track record of delivering complex IT projects, preferably within the financial industry.
• Understanding of IT processes and system development.
• Professional skills in written and spoken English language.
• Professional skills in MS Office and proficient user of SharePoint.
It would be beneficial if you have a project management certification (PMP, IPMA, Prince 2, Scrum Master etc.), as well as experience in driving projects with an offshore delivery element.
