The client is designing, manufacturing, installing, commissioning, and providing aftermarket service for a wide variety of drilling systems and equipment.
To the office in South Norway, Kristiansand we are now looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the team.
Due to increased amount of work, project implementation and further development of our products, we are seeking a talented Senior Project Engineer. We supply both integrated solutions and standalone machines. The group works closely with other disciplines to continually develop existing products and developing new solutions to streamline and optimize drilling processes.
Responsibilities will primarily be:
Design in Autodesk Inventor.
Preparation of drawings for production.
Preparation, coordination and control of project specific technical documentation.
Technical clarifications to the agent / contractor / site.
Contribute to the development of the Groups products.
Contribute the testing of development products.
Resource Person for other designers in construction.
Qualifications and skills:
We are looking for positive and motivated employees who want to move to Norway on a permanent basis. Prior experience within the oil and gas industry is not required but is an advantage. You should generally have good technical knowledge in mechatronics, especially broad experience in mechanical design and seeking continuous improvement. You must have good experience using 3D design tools. Inventor experience would be an advantage. You have a good understanding of drill floor equipment. As a person you should be positive, independent, flexible and solution oriented with good interpersonal skills, ability to share knowledge with colleagues and good at getting things done. We are looking for candidates with good English skills, both written and oral.
