Who we are:
The Strategy and Business Models team is part of Solutions Management within Trucks department. Our overlaying mission is to create, develop, monitor and fine-tune plans to deliver both long-term corporate objectives and short term targets.
With a deep understanding of the overall business we create strategies to guide the Trucks organisation and at the same time support the daily work with business insights, pricing and business development. We recognise that our business is changing and we need to secure that our strategies and future business models support this.
The Strategy and Business Models team consists of experienced colleagues with various backgrounds from different parts of Scania. We work in a climate where collaboration is key, opinions and knowledge are openly shared within the team and where we support and challenge each other to continuously improve and develop.
We are now looking for a new team member who is interested to continue to develop our team and solve our current challenges.
What you will do:
In this position you will be in the centre of the transformation of our business. The essence of this role is to formulate strategies and targets of our solutions offering in the truck business and secure short and long term activities to drive these strategies. You will be doing a mixed combination of leading, supporting, and guiding in a dynamic work environment where our customers, Scania's purpose, the everchanging transport system and business opportunities define what we do.
You will be part of developing Trucks organisation's role in Scania's execution plan towards driving the shift and, by being part of specific projects and initiatives deliver on Scania's corporate objectives and targets. This role will be very cross-functional throughout Scania and it will be done in close cooperation with all the areas within Sales & Marketing and Commercial Operations.
Who you are:
We believe that you are organized and appreciate a mixture of both hands-on straight forward tasks as well as more complex issues. That you have an interest and experience in working with both Scania's product and commercial offering.
The most important traits of a Senior Product Manager centre around experience, skill set and knowledge. Based on these traits you should be able to initiate or solve varying complex issues in a pragmatic and effective way. We value that you pro-actively initiate activities that gives the most potential for developing the truck business and supporting Scania's strategy.
This position requires a personal drive, business knowhow, strategic thinking, interest in leadership and experience of the Scania way of working. You have analytic skills and handle the Microsoft Office package with ease.
The role will take you to many different environments, internally as well as externally so you will need to deal with cultural differences and master English fluently. Swedish is not required.
