Overview
MachineGames is looking for an experienced and talented Senior Producer to strengthen its team. In this role you will be directly reporting into our Executive Producer, and you will be working closely with several other producers and stakeholders to ensure that the day-to-day development runs smoothly. Our studio headquarters is located in central Uppsala, Sweden which is a small and vibrant city 40 minutes north of the capital of Sweden, Stockholm. It has a historical heritage reaching back to pre-medieval times. MachineGames also has a satellite office in central Sundsvall - a beautiful city in the northern parts of Sweden.

This is a permanent onsite position in Uppsala, Sweden or Sundsvall, Sweden, starting as soon as possible. We will support your relocation and/or application for a work permit if you are not an EU citizen and/or are not currently residing in Sweden.
Responsibilities
Be responsible for the day-to-day development and timely delivery of a large section (potentially multiple production units) of major AAA projects.
Coordinate team members from across various departments resulting in the delivery of game features.
Work "across" production units, to ensure that all dependencies from outside your own production unit are identified, well understood and can be hit.
Identify (and, preferably, predict) production problems and blockages, construct solutions and execute upon them.
Work with directors, discipline leads and other producers to define milestone goals, both long term Roadmap and short-term Sprints, of the area of the game under your responsibility.
Potentially delegate work to and oversee the work of one or more Associate Producers
Set up sprints and maintain the product backlog for the areas of the game under your responsibility.
Track, communicate progress and resolve problems during Sprints.
Develop and maintain both short- and long-term capacity planning methods.
Coordinate and manage approvals from the appropriate creative and technical leads
Coordinate gameplay/focus test sessions (both internal and external).
Regularly communicate and coordinate with our publisher's development and QA teams.
Daily communication with development team members.
Coordinate and document of development meetings.

Qualifications
Prior experience working in a AAA studio.
Have an excellent track record of successful production management and experience in building large AAA videogame
Experienced in multiple development cycles of videogame projects from Concept phase to Release.
Are experienced in overseeing a wide variety of different team types, covering a broad spectrum of the areas involved in the development of a game. For example, you should be comfortable producing gameplay-focused teams (e.g. AI or Player experience) as well as the more content-focused teams (e.g. level building or cinematics), made up of developers from all of the common development disciplines such as artists, programmers, animators and designers.
Have an outstanding organizational and time management skills
Have demonstrable experience working within a modern game development process, including estimating workflow, resolving bottlenecks, identifying dependencies, evaluating work quality, and proactively solving problems.
Have a solid technical knowledge of computer hardware and software.
Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
