Enerpoly is inviting visionary and self-motivated individuals to join our team. Our patented zinc and manganese technology is transforming stationary energy storage, providing a safer and more affordable solution. Headquartered in Stockholm, we are on the cusp of establishing the world's first mega-factory for zinc-ion batteries, the Enerpoly Production Innovation Center (EPIC), and we are actively seeking a dedicated Senior Mechanical Engineer.
This will be your role As our Senior Mechanical Engineer at Enerpoly, you will lead and coordinate mechanical design efforts across the product lifecycle, ensuring alignment with manufacturing and operational goals. You will define, execute, and evaluate testing protocols and implement design improvements for optimal product performance and efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and continuously refining mechanical designs, including detailed drawings, specifications, and tolerance chain analyses.
• Leading the mechanical design process to meet product requirements and production objectives.
• Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify challenges, propose solutions, and implement improvements.
• Analyzing operational data to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participating in the development and optimization of production equipment to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensuring designs are aligned with manufacturability and sustainability principles.
• Engaging with suppliers and customers to ensure technical requirements are met and design enhancements are implemented.

In addition, if you also possess the following qualifications and skills, we might be the right match for each other:
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education/work experience.
• Over 5 years of relevant experience, including hands-on design work.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD, plastic and metal design, and plastic mold equipment.
• Experience in start-up/scale-up environments, process industries, and project management.
