Chassis & Driveline Quality is part of the Customer Quality Experience (CQE) organization, we are a team of Design & Test Engineers as well as Project Managements roles, all with a common goal to provide solutions that improve the uptime of our products and contribute to a great ownership experience for our customers.

Main area of responsibility:
The team has members with a broad mix of competences to be able to efficiently address a wide spectrum of Chassis & Driveline issues. As a key member of the team, you will play an important role in the team's success and your main responsibilities will be a wide range of activities.
You will work with Root Cause Analysis investigations based on customer complaints, the analysis could be purely data driven, performed at the production facility, in one of our buses, in the field or a combination depending on the need of each case. You will also develop solution concepts, be a part of planning and executing verification activities and give input to future requirements and test method development.
The role offers you a chance to broaden your competence inside Chassis & Driveline technology to be able to
contribute to a variety of areas outside your current core competence.
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience from the automotive industry in Product Development
Engineering degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering area.
Technical knowledge and experience related to components installation and media routing.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
You are business oriented with a clear customer focus
Experience modeling 3D parts/system and detailing technical drawings, Catia V5 is preferable.
Have experience using Root Cause Analysis methods and/or FMEA
It is considered an asset if you:
Have a Solid knowledge of Volvo systems and processes
Knowledge in Agile principles and methods
Bus driving license
