Job description
Teaching and research at the Mechanical Engineering Department at the Institution of technology, specializing in Industrial engineering. Examples of interesting applications can be financial analysis, organization-, management-, and strategy-related fields, as well as innovation, product development and commercializing.
The work should reflect modern thinking in the field, both in theory and in practical implementation. The position can include teaching, study program and course development, research and research supervision.
Other tasks will be to interact with both the R & D units in the region with other institutions both nationally and internationally. Applicants are presumed to actively participate in the department's daily operations and follow the developments in the field.
Basis of assessment
Entry Requirements
• PhD in Industrial Engineering or related scientific field, or equivalent academic qualifications.
• Completed course in teaching in higher education, or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways, and demonstrated educational expertise in technical subjects.
Other criteria of assessment
• Documented ability to develop and manage externally funded research projects.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplinary and departmental boundaries.
• Ability to interact with the community, such as academia, industry and government organizations.
