HVDC is looking for a Senior Internal HSE Auditor to work together with us in an international environment with plenty of opportunities. In this role you will be part of the Audit team that are dedicated to providing independent and objective assessments of the Company 's way of work, system of internal control and management processes.
In this role you will be part of the HSE Governance team that are dedicated to support and drive HSE improvements to a global organization with several office locations, manufacturing's, test facilities and several project- and service sites.
As an HSE Auditor your main responsibilities will be to maintain and continuously improve the HSE Management system by conducting internal audits and participate and support with third party audits. In the role you will also have a responsibility to improve and maintain HSE audit process.
As an HSE Lead Auditor you will collaborate with different stakeholders all over the organization and your work will have a key role in continue improving the HSE culture and awareness at HVDC.

For this position you have the opportunity to work in Västerås or Ludvika.
Your responsibilities
Plan, scheduling interviews and execute audits and internal assessments independently, while being able to team with individuals across various departments and functions.
Deliver value-added findings and opportunities for improvements in a constantly changing and growing environment.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present to stakeholders and management.
Provide assistance and support to external audit team as required.
Execute internal audits on global processes and on-site project HSE audits at global locations.
Lead/assist in the performance of special reviews and investigations as assigned.
Act professional during the audits, maintain independence with objectivity and assure the protection of confidential information.
Conclude and analyze the HSE audit result on an overall level to see patterns, root causes, risks and trends within the organization.

Your background
We highly value your personality and see that you have a positive, structured, flexible, driven, and pro-active mindset.
You have solid communication and influencing skills to address and build trust with people on different organizational levels.
As you will be part of an international environment English is a must, both written and spoken.
You have a university degree, preferably within accounting or related field.
At least three years of experience of in risk based internal audits in public accounting or professional internal auditing and knowledge of HSE Management Systems and Continuous improvement is required.
Knowledge and skills required to perform first, second and/or third party audits of management systems against the requirements of the ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 50001:2018
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
