Global Consumer Experience (GCE) is an umbrella structure built up by three main areas - (1) Global Strategy, Brand & Retail, (2) Vehicle Line Management and (3) Consumer Enterprise Digital. We are responsible for securing attractive consumer offerings, both in terms of what we offer: cars and services, and how we offer them: a seamless consumer journey and development of the business model. At GCE, you are part of a global team and of the exciting journey towards a true premium position in the changing automotive environment - driven by digitization, autonomous driving, electrification and the sharing economy.

About the position

This roles main task is to drive CRM operations and Loyalty for Volvo Cars. Responsibilities will include a newly formed Loyalty and CRM team that consist of the CRM and consumer data strategy, the CRM shared services operations team that handles all the 27 markets on the central CRM platform and CRM fulfillment. The team support the markets with CRM campaigns and fulfillment across the globe. One of the main new task is to secure a new loyalty approach for Volvo Cars and to create the strategy for how to keep our customers within the Volvo brand by offering the best value proposition. During the coming years Volvo also aims to replace the central CRM platform with a new one state of the art solution and the Consumer and Loyalty team is a key stakeholder in that transition.

The position reports to the Vice President of Global Marketing and is part of the Global Marketing management team.

What you will do:
* Secure a stable and efficient CRM shared services operation towards the regions and markets
* Lead, manage, mentor and develop the Consumer and Loyalty department people (approx. 10 persons + bought services centers)
* Develop a strong loyalty proposition for Volvo Cars customers and make the plan for implementing it globally
* Secure consumer data strategy for Volvo Cars acting as consumer master data owner
* Be a strong stakeholder towards the CRM platform development and improvement, putting demands on the platforms and Digital & IT teams including the new global CRM platform
* Secure regional & market alignment for the consumer relation strategy and operations
* Drive local and central requirements for updates, changes and new development through all CRM properties.
* Contribute actively in the Global Marketing management team

What you will bring:
* University Master's degree in marketing, finance or equivalent
* Management experience from leading CRM teams and especially Loyalty programs in larger global companies, preferably in industries with strong loyalty aspect like airlines, hotel chains and similar
* Business acumen, financial control, and proven people management skills
* Cross-functional and integrated work experience, with high ability to co-operate and work in a team environment
* Market experience is highly desired
* Fluent in English (spoken and especially written)


To be successful in this role you have an excellent ability to structure complex challenges and strong interpersonal skills and a leadership style with focus on delivering. You need to communicate with clarity, be an active listener and convey points in a conceiving, inspiring and decisive manner. Also, you have brilliant presentations skills to be able to present with impact on executive level.
