Aros is seeking a Senior Designer Power Electronics to join the team, Advanced Engineering and here you will be responsible keeping Aros technology platform within Power Electronics on the forefront.
Aros Electronics is a product company that delivers integrated solutions consisting of electric motors, mechanics, and control electronics to customers worldwide. Our customized solutions are developed at our office in Mölndal, where we have a modern production facility for electronics, with a high degree of automation. Our products are used in industrial automation, heavy vehicles, and textile machinery.
Your role
As a Senior Designer Power Electronics you will supporting on-going product development projects with needed knowledge. You will propose suitable system architecture when initiating new projects. You will also act as an internal expert within the field, being able to conduct internal training of more junior engineers.
• Design and develop advanced motor control systems for PMSM motors
• Design and test power converters
• Conduct research and analysis to identify new technologies and trends
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting of motor control systems and power converters
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field. You should have a strong understanding of power conversion theory and design, as well as proficiency in using simulation and design tools such as MATLAB and Simulink. Additionally, you should possess good knowledge of electronic components and have experience with electrical measurement technology. Knowledge of programming languages such as C and Python is also required. You should demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities.
