This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
As Senior Controller, Nordics you will steer the total Statement of Income for the Derma and Health businesses across the Nordics countries. Share opportunities and risks identified during performance steering with the Derma and Health Leadership team and ensure actions are followed through. Support stakeholders & management in reporting and communication of key performance drivers and longer-term strategic planning. Partner and challenge the Derma and Health leadership team and Business Unit Heads in their ongoing management of the Pharmacy business. Guide and support the Pharmacy Controller to deliver their objectives and support their development. Overall ownership of the annual forecasting cycle for both Derma and Health.
Your Tasks
Lead the financial elements of Sales and Opportunity Planning and participation in discussion to increase forecast accuracy
Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure a collaborative drive towards targets. Take a co-piloting role with the commercial teams. Support the commercial teams with launches and relaunches. Upskill business partners to enable greater financial understanding.
Highlight to stakeholders & management key issues in current and future forecasted performance versus target so actions can be initiated.
Responsible for understanding and communicating performance at different levels of hierarchy, from total customer to SKU level. Identify areas of opportunity and risk within these, and work with stakeholders to ensure findings are taken into account.
Steer pricing discussions with the sales team to manage GM and NSP targets. Support the sales team to plan, negotiate and implement list price increases as required.
Annual trade agreements, rebate reporting, spend clarity and control - Overall responsible for ensuring all agreements, rebates and discounts are logged centrally and costs/achievements are monitored on-going.
Ensure adherence to compliance & controls requirements. Overall responsible for information requested by internal/external audit.
To support the Nordics Finance Process Development Manager with the development and improvement of new and existing systems and processes to ensure the effective operation of the Sales and Customer Marketing teams.
Active participation in regional team meetings and projects.
Your Profile
Degree-educated finance professional
High levels of personal ownership/autonomy
Proactive and driven, you will be flexible and agile; able to adapt to changing priorities and request
Analytical mindset and commercial experience, ideally within a business partnering background
Excellent communication skills with the resilience to challenge and offer solutions based on fact
Management experience desired but not essential
