We are now looking for a communicative, driven and pedagogical Senior Business Controller - someone who wants to work on an international scale, with the opportunity to take ownership of the business control function. The role focuses on PA Tube's Business Unit EMEA - Tube's largest BU, with an organization of about 1100 people. Working with finance for Tube EMEA we have a responsibility to add value to the business by being a trustworthy partner, and we are accountable for ensuring that our financial operations work efficiently at all times. We offer you a position with an overall view of SMT Tube EMEA's business and access to all functions of Tube EMEA and the management team.
Job Summary
As Senior Business Controller, you work with procurement, manufacturing, sales/marketing, forecasting, competitive and business intelligence, etc. You will map all of Tube EMEA's business proactively, by analyzing and interpreting the numbers and then drawing conclusions and making recommendations to the management team. You actively work together with all functions of Tube EMEA, acting as a link between these and making sure their actions are synchronized in their business activities.
Also, you take significant ownership for the overall function of business control for Tube EMEA, driving improvement initiatives and performance management.
We are looking for someone with a degree in Finance as well as senior experience from business control and finance. You have previously acted over all functions of a manufacturing industry, with an international scope. Experience from the steel industry, including having been involved in valuation of raw materials, is extra advantageous.

You are analytical and pedagogical at the same time, making it possible for you to translate numbers and statistics into comprehensible terms and recommendations for decision makers. You also like working with an external focus and have an interest in markets, the business and customers, as well as the ability to analyze the same. Business acumen is in your nature and you find inspiration in a true challenge in a highly complex setting. Additionally, you are performance orientated and take ownership of your functions' delivery and development. As this is an international position, you need to have excellent communication skills, making it easy for you to build relations and cooperate with people from all over the world.
