We are now looking for a new Section Manager R&D for the Extractables & Leachables/Materials Science team within the Start-to-Finish department!
The section is responsible for assessing chemical safety of bioprocess equipment by performing extractables and leachables studies, and for producing information packages to end-users for safety risk assessments and regulatory filings related to equipment qualification. The section is also responsible for material science in tech support and new product development projects.
What you'll do
Supply Research, Development, Support and idea evaluation projects with resources according to the needs in term of time and competences, and secure that deliveries from the section are executed in an efficient and timely manner and with appropriate quality and according to agreed standards.
Secure that the competence and know-how of the section members is appropriate to support the organization, and that the competences are continuously developed via education, seminars, coaching, mentoring and individual developmental plans
Drive the development of the section to improve efficiency, establish processes and a strategy to secure long term technology development within the sections responsibility areas
You will ensure a safe working environment for the team
Who you are
Master or PhD degree in analytical chemistry or related Life Science field or equivalent knowledge or experience
5 years proven experience of R&D in the Life Science area
Experience of working with extractables and leachables
Leadership skills/experience such as project or line management, supervisor or activity responsible
Good ability to empower, advise and develop people
In order to succeed in this position you need to be motivated, flexible and creative with a strong collaborative demeanour, focusing on the customer needs
Swedish and English as working languages
