hela Sverige Our department, Baseband Infrastructure (BBI) is developing a common SW platform and infrastructure for baseband applications in the radio base stations in mobile networks (5G, LTE, WCDMA and GSM). As a Section Manager at Baseband Infrastructure (BBI), you will be leading a team to build a foundation for great baseband SW on Ericsson MS (Multi Standard) DU (Digital Unit) and beyond! Together, make baseband development awesome!
At BBI we drive SW technology for the next generation multi standard radio base stations. We provide a software platform with high level of abstraction and a powerful tool chain, targeting existing and future multi-standard many-core HW generations. The BBI organization is part of BNEW DNEP PDU 4G5G and based in Sweden (Kista, Linköping, Lund), Canada (Ottawa) and in Poland (Krakow, Lodz).
Your team is involved in developing platform SW for the EMCA (Ericsson Multi Core Architecture) as well as developing the toolset. This includes, but is not limited to, e.g. Observability functionality and the EMCA compiler that is based on Open Source (LLVM). We strive to have teams that span the complete BBI area with a gravitation and depth into some.
You will be an important part of the Baseband Infrastructure LT-team, committed to coach and develop strong, highly competent, result and customer focused teams and employees and enabling possibilities for them to succeed. You will also be expected to take a holistic view for the completeness of Baseband Infrastructure. Leading in the BBI area requires very close collaboration with HW development and the baseband community as well as the open source community.
Responsibilities:

Communicate the departments and company's goals and strategies to the organization including change management;
Define business and organizational strategies, follow up and act on these to improve;
