hela Sverige Join our dedicated import Sea Logistics Operational Care team in Gothenburg and play a key role in the transportation of our customers' goods on their journey across the globe, ensuring attention to detail and excellent customer service.
Your Role
As an Operational Care Specialist, you will have full responsibility to deliver excellent service and quality towards our customers.
Your Responsibilities
Prepare shipment file for import shipment handling; monitor operational performance of carriers and other vendors
Working on profit maximization by selecting the right carrier, contract, haulier and keeping track of any deviance in cost
Co-ordinate with Customer Care Location and suppliers for the imports of shipment
Review and ensure alignment of shipping instructions to clarify any deviations or conflicts, for instance with country regulations, compliance or internal pricing information
Ensuring timely import customs clearance according to port regulations and monitoring
Handle all transport bookings according to customer instructions
Active participation in the financial month-end closing process
Close cooperation with Sales and Customer Care on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations and create distribution of sales invoices
Your Skills And Experiences
Bachelor's Degree, YRGO or similar in Logistics/Supply Chain or any related field
Previous experience and knowledge in freight forwarding operations - ideally in sea logistics
Excellent organisational skills and strong interpersonal & problem-solving skills
Ability to work to the required operational quality standards both through own initiative as well as building strong relationships and collaborating with the team and stakeholders
Excellent time management skills with the ability to set priorities, fulfil critical tasks on time and keep to deadlines
Resilience to manage change, embrace new technologies and quickly understand and execute new processes
User-level knowledge of MS Office
Written and spoken fluency in both Swedish and English
