JOB DESCRIPTION
Stoneridge is a leading supplier to the automotive, truck, bus, and off-road markets. Our products range from telematic systems, driver information systems, and tachographs through electronic control modules and power distribution centers to multiplex systems, cockpit switch modules and aftermarket products. We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master for global distributed teams working in a project that develops driving solutions for automotive OEMs. Agile working methods are a foundation in our way of working. Here you will work with a product development where you can see the actual result, the entire flow from design to finished product.

JOB DUTIES
As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and sprint retrospective. Using your skills and enable friction free progress, communicate using the scrum values such as openness, honesty, and respect. Your responsibility includes the coaching of international teams with different cultures and creating the environment for the agile teams with focus on transparent communication. You will also have responsibility to support the teams with supporting the team in work with forecasting the delivery plan deliverables and its iterations and you are the expert of estimation and planning methodology. You should possess the knowledge and encourage the team how to bring value, along with the alignment of the plans for software development projects.

A person you that help, inspire, and engage the team members to progress. You anticipate issues and develop contingency plans. You also pursue challenging goals and work hard to achieve them, in part through promoting good methodology, good teamwork and use your great communication skills. It is also important to collaborate with other software team leaders to managing cross-cutting concerns. Starting date: As soon as possible or according to mutual agreement.
To thrive in this position, it is critical that you have:
• Min 3 years' experience as scrum master and/or at least 5 years' experience from embedded software development (Knowledge of using Linux or real time operating systems)
• Conviction that validation and verification is as important as implementation
• Basic knowledge of Atlassian Jira, Confluence or similar
• Advanced knowledge of agile methods (i.e., SCRUM, SAFE)
• Basic knowledge of Subversion, GIT or ClearCase, or similar
• Minimum B.Sc. in Software or Electrical engineering
• Excellent skills in English, both written and spoken, as this is company language

It is meriting if you have experience from:
• Working according to A SPICE framework (ISO 15504) or Functional Safety (ISO 26262)
• Python (with relation to understanding the software release toolchain)
• Knowledge in electronics, ability to read circuit drawings
• Familiarity with the automotive industry
