Responsibilities

As Sales Engineer at Tacton you will be actively involved in our sales process.

You will be perceived by the Customers as a reliable technical counterpart, understanding their needs and providing valuable and concrete solutions.

Your main tasks will be to:

Lead product demos and technical presentations, highlighting the relevant USPs for the customer
Build strong Customer Demos and/or Proof of Concepts with the aim of building trust and proving that our solution fits the customer's needs
Discuss, capture and define customer's high-level business requirements and map them against existing product features
Influence and suggest changes to the customer's requirements in order to:
- position Tacton as the strongest vendor
- simplify the implementation and allow a rapid ROI for the customer
Answer product related questions in RFx documents

Our customers are major international corporations, mainly located in Western Europe, the United States and Japan. They are the leaders in several manufacturing industries. You will communicate directly with the customer's key contacts in order to understand ASIS, needs and pains to find new business solutions, proposing new processes and bringing value.





Role

As Sales Engineer you will belong to the Sales Organization and report to the Director Sales Engineering.



You will mainly work at our office in downtown Stockholm, but travel is included as a natural part of the job.

In our sales organization, you will work in a dynamic team with division of roles. You will primarily cooperate with the Regional Sales Manager and will be part of a Bid Team, including a Bid Manager, product experts, partners, architects, etc..





Required Skills/Experience

You have long experience working from a technical/sales perspective directly with customers, medium and large strategic enterprises.

5+ years of experience in software companies


Previous experience of work as Sales Engineer in software companies is an advantage
Sense of business management that may lead to direct dialogue with customers during meetings and workshops
Master of Science degree, or equivalent
Experience of common IT systems such as ERP, CRM, PLM

Previous knowledge of CPQ is an advantage


Ability to understand manufacturing business processes and challenges
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English

Ability to travel.
