PRESENTATION
ESAB Finance Centre, Sales Company Controller Group is looking for a Sales Company Controller to be responsible for financial and management accounting, controlling and reporting on the accounting records for one of ESABs sales companies in the Nordic countries.

• Maintenance of all accounting controls.
• Journal input and control.
• Weekly controls and monthly control file.
• Unit reporting of results to head office.
• Financial commentary.
• Budgeting and forecasting.
• Liaison with senior management and co-ordination of overhead budgeting activity.
• VAT
• Assisting in preparation of statutory accounts.
• Supporting management with ad hoc reports and requests.
• Weekly cashflow reporting.
• Adherence to group and local SSC (Shared Service Center) policies and procedures.
ErfarenhetPreferably you will have a degree level or professional qualification in accountancy or business administration in combination with at least 2 years experience of financial control business analysis. You also have appreciation/understanding of variance analysis. Prior experience of running and controlling a general ledger.
Good understanding of general business controls and knowledge of VAT, pensions and social security rules is an advantage. International practical experience and high degree of IT literacy are advantages and a good level of English language is important. Knowledge in Swedish, or/and any other Nordic language is also an advantage.
As person you are a good communicator, delivers good service to internal and external customers. Have the ability to build relationships at a distance. An accounting all-rounder who enjoys both financial and management accounting. You are reliable, trustworthy and honest, analytical, attentive to detail and strict about financial control. Have good organisational skills and are able to meet deadlines and therefore flexible on working hours at certain times.
There may be relatively small degree of travel expected
