Take the opportunity to join GPA CIO in the role of a Release Train Engineer (RTE). You will be working in a rapidly changing environment as Group Products and Advice will take the next steps of the Agile Transformation journey.
As a Release Train Engineer, you will play an important role in contributing to increased value, flow and efficiency.
Your main responsibility will be to facilitate and coach our agile teams to create value and progress in our product and IT development.
About the job:
Swedbank is undergoing a major IT modernisation transformation of replacing legacy platforms with more modern technology to meet increased customer demand and reduce risks.
In order to manage this big transformation we need to become more efficient and focus on delivering value. We will do that by implementing agile ways of working.
We need an RTE who will play a key role in guiding, driving and supporting the teams in this journey to become successful in this transformation and the deliveries.
The RTE will work closely together with the Product Managers, Architects, Agile Product Owners, Scrum Masters and together with a team of other 15 RTE's also drive the team towards set deliveries and enable an efficient team/organisation.
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to: Actively contribute to the implementation of established practices and participate in competence development forums
Drive the development of customizations based on our agile maturity and performance through standardization and documentation of best practices
Coach and guide stakeholders in the agile mindset, principles and working methods
Promote continuous learning and improvement within teams and the organisation
Support teams by driving solutions to problems they can't solve on their own
Identify and manage risks to ensure progress and quality
Communicate and coordinate between actors at portfolio level and within the different teams
What is needed in this role: Previous experience of the RTE, Agile coach, Scrum Master and/or Team Manager/Competence lead roles or other managerial roles
A strong leadership experience track record
At least 10 years work experience
Working language mostly English
Knowledge and experience of agile and lean methods and the ability to apply them in complex businesses environment
SAFe RTE and/or SPC certificate is an advantage
Interest in tools and technology (Atlassian Jira and Confluence, AI, M365 etc)
Self-driven
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, such as presentation and active listening skills
Skills to inspire and motivate people from team members to business owners
A great and engaged team player, able to work collaboratively with and through others
Structured and organized with a pragmatic and solution-oriented view
Strength in building cooperation and networks cross organisation
