THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
In the role as Retail Academy Trainer you will connect and collaborate with the Retail Academy Manager, Retail Operations & Communication Coordinator and District Sales Managers as well as the People team to identify learning needs to inform and shape the planning of the annual learning calendar.
You will amend the training pack produced by Global teams for the fit of purpose for the local markets. In this role you will have regular contact with the Retail Academy Global team and will keep track of updates, new product information and training packs that need to be translated and adopted for the markets. This requires great administration, transcript skills as well as being able to handle Office software programmes. The Retail Academy Trainer coordinates the information and training materials uploaded on Retail Park in close collaboration with the Retail Operations & Communications Coordinator.
In this role you will also be the administrator of our Learning Management System (e-learning) and at the same time be the creator of some of the assets like editorial videos, podcasts and recorded teams training assets.
As the Retail Academy Trainer you need to have the brand insight and knowledge about The Body Shop history to be able to create and deliver training, digital (teams conferences, conference calls) or on shop floor. You will be one of the stakeholders in the development and training for a Purposeful Customer Experience and the activism development in store. The role will support District Sales Mangers to be vital in their community, bringing people together, championing change and creating a culture of recognition and positive challenge.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You have a passion for our brand purpose and are at heart an activist, with the ability to share this in an inspiring way. In this position it will be important to build sustainable relationships both in the Global teams, local Service Office as well as with store teams. We are looking for someone who has collaborative skills and have the ability to co-work in a cross-functional team with many stakeholders to support. You are self-driven and have the ability to plan, prioritize and meet deadlines, both working through distance from your team and manager. To be a great communicator both verbally and in writing is important for the success in this role. You also like to get into action on the shop floor to role model and coach the customer experience in store, where we are authentic, personal and engaged with our customers. In this role you need digital training skills, managing both IT-tools, creating digital content and workshops on the Teams communications platform. The role includes travelling (we follow Corona-19 restrictions) to our stores to train and coach on the shop floor, in all our stores in Sweden & Denmark.
You have:
At least 2 years' experience as a Store Managers or 5 years as Customer Consultant
Cosmetics experience, product and category knowledge from The Body Shop or other brand
Good presentations and trainer skills
Native Swedish speaking
Fluently English orally and in writing
Danish language skills are meritorious
Skincare therapists or Make-up artist accredits are meritorious
Experience of digital learning and creating digital training assets are meritorious
