We are seeking two dynamic individuals to join our Underground Sales & Marketing team in the role of Regional Underground Business Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the safety and well-being of our team and fostering a collaborative and supportive team spirit within your organization.

In response to Epiroc Underground division's remarkable business growth since 2020 and the ever-increasing demand for our advanced technology offerings, we are introducing two new crucial positions for Regional Underground Business Managers (UBMs) for the regions of (1) Americas, and (2) Australasia. These roles are pivotal in the evolution of our Business Management structure, ensuring a seamless transition to a hybrid set-up. As we expand our regional teams and integrate innovative solutions to meet market needs, the UBMs will play a central role in driving growth, fostering collaboration, and steering our vision to be the forefront leader in underground operations. Join us in this exciting phase of our journey, where your expertise will contribute to shaping the future of our dynamic and thriving Underground division.

As Regional Underground Business Manager, you will act as a two-way bridge between the global division and local Customer Centers and customers in your region. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Developing and fostering a collaborative team spirit within your organization.
* Driving order intake, revenue, and profitability in line with approved annual planning.
* Acting as a forward operating arm of the Underground Division, executing front line decisions within your mandate.
* Leading the regional underground product & application hub, focusing on automation, battery machines, and high-tech drilling and bolting solutions.
* Developing our Epiroc Underground organization within your team and Customer Centers.
* Consolidating market intelligence and customer feedback within the region and funneling it to the Global Management Team.
* Increasing customer satisfaction through strong communication and partnership with internal and external teams.

Your profile
Required experience:
* Minimum of five (5) years of experience in people management.
* Experience managing cost and/or budgets.
* Experience working across different cultures.
* Strong comprehension of basic and intermediary financial statements.

Advantageous experience:
* Experience in production and mining industries/environments is an asset.
* Direct sales or commercial experience is considered an asset.

Location and travel
Location of this position is flexible and will be placed in an Epiroc office within the relevant region of responsibility and will be agreed upon with the successful candidates as part of the recruitment process. Preferred locations for the Australasia role include India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, or Thailand. Preferred locations for the Americas role include Brazil, Chile, Peru, or the United States. In case a candidate from a different country applies and is successful, local terms and conditions will apply.
The level of travel can be influenced by the Regional Underground Business Manager themselves, estimated at 30-50%.
