Position Summary
As a Radio Product Designer you will develop & maintain products (radio components, systems and solutions), including design and development activities like requirement floorplans, block diagrams, power calculations, analysis, design, integration, verification, configuration management, customer support, product documentation, etc. In order to achieve a final product design, knowledge of mechanics, thermic and sourcing is required.
Responsibilities & Tasks
Participate to Radio Product design projects from concept through production
Drafting floorplans, power budgets, block diagrams, manufacturing cost-calculations, etc.
Prototyping products in order to deliver high quality end-products
Create visually persuasive presentations
Perform Continuous Analysis and Requirement Handling
Drive Continuous Improvements of Products and Processes
Position Qualifications
Core Competences:
Product design experience: From a volume product, preferably working with modularity
Drafting (end to end understanding): Floorplans, Power budgets, Block diagrams, Manufacturing cost-calculations, etc.
Radio design knowledge: System level radio knowledge combined with radio implementation understanding
E&P (Enclosure and Power) knowledge: Understanding of mechanics, thermal, ID and interconnect
Structured way of working: both for finding solutions and sharing with others
Capable of decision-making based on comparison analysis proposals

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
BSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
Minimum experience of 10 years in the radio access network product design

Sourcing knowledge: Interfacing with vendors
