We are now recruiting an QUALITY TECHNICIAN.
As a quality technician, you will have the role of ensuring product quality through the implementation of various visual and physical control methods.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Manage the nonconforming material workflow (NCM) through the entire lifecycle (from receipt to final disposition).
Report on NCM workflow data, NCM management (returned material by part, by supplier, etc.).
Perform audit/inspection duties to include testing and inspection of products in accordance with documented procedures.
Perform technical measurements on components from 2D prints and understands dimensional requirements.
Record and compile audit and test results.
Direct and/or participate in lean manufacturing projects for improvement in quality, cost, and delivery.
Sorting and measuring materials and products as needed.
Support manufacturing by troubleshooting issues that either cause or potentially cause work stoppages and reduced throughput times.
Recommend and implement corrective action and preventive action in support of manufacturing.
Assist in performing part qualification on in-house manufactured parts.
Provide the appropriate management, engineering resource, and operators with feedback on quality.
Who are you?
We see that you respond to the following standards:
Experience of working in a quality system environment. For example ISO 9001.
Skilled in the use of test and measurement equipment, e.g. mechanical measurement tools.
Ability to work well with others in a cross-functional team environment.
Ability to effectively use common office productivity software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office or corresponding packages).
Understanding of dimensional requirements.
How to read and understand blueprints.
Knowledge of English and Swedish languages.
