Ensure the quality and environmental management systems are suitable to the needs of the business and are effective and efficient enough to ensure our products are produced with high quality and limited environmental impact and to the highest possible quality standard.
Be a proactive member of the Senior Management Team and ensure the Company at all times meets its maximum quality potential within its market sector.
Define the Quality and Environmental strategy and policy direction creating and implementing proactive solutions in order to assist with the achievement of the business objectives.

Job responsibilities and descriptions
• Make, renew and review quality system according ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and ensure it meets the requirements of the business;
• Work as Quality assurance and Quality control engineer;
• Ensure effective communication with all colleagues at all levels across the organization;
• Ensure suitable investigation of quality concerns addressing discipline (to verbal warning level i.e. mislabeling issues, failure to follow work instructions etc.) where necessary.
• Support team improvement activities by offering ideas and supporting existing and new projects;
• Work in conjunction with Production, Planning, Manufacturing and Engineering;
• Devising and establishing a company's quality procedures, standards and specifications;
• Reviewing customer requirements and ensuring that they are met;
• Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers;
• Setting standards for quality as well as health and safety;
• Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards;
• Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
• Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures;
• Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports;
• Preparing clear explanatory documents such as customers' charters;
• Ensure all current procedures and practices are sufficiently robust to prevent quality and environmental issues;
• Ensure there are sufficient controls regarding waste;
• Production of required reports and control plans;
• Production of effective quality data to allow continuous improvement;
• Maintain production and quality records as necessary;
• Identify and communicate client standards;
• Absolute awareness at all times of the manufacturing and delivery demands of clients and the required quality of our products;
• Undertake periodic presentations;
• Undertake appraisals of quality staff every six months;
• Offer guidance and support to ensure we achieve what is necessary to satisfy the customer and business needs;
• Ensure all required records and documentation is completed and safely stored to ensure and maintain quality standards and traceability.
Minimum education and qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an applied science or engineering field;
• Minimum 3 years(s) experience in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality system management;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
• Proficiency in English language;
• Experience in involving ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality systems;
• Experience in quality system audits;
• Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development.
