Project Manager Purchasing to Volvo Group Trucks Purchasing

Who we are at Project Office Vehicle Europe within GTP?
GTP Purchasing Projects Office Vehicle Europe is a Regional organization with the responsibility to manage all purchasing deliveries during the whole project timeline. We manage a diverse project portfolio including new technologies such as vehicle automation, connectivity and electro-mobility.

Your mission
As Purchasing Project Manager (PMP) you act as a team leader to drive the Purchasing activities in assigned projects in collaboration with buyers and supplier quality engineers. You drive projects from start to end with focus on purchasing, while contributing to the whole business. You are part of a cross-functional project team and act as the Purchasing "voice" in the project through collaboration with the whole Purchasing organization.

The position is temporary due to maternity leave.

Reporting to: Manager Project Office Start Cost Purchasing.

Your competence & previous experience
As this position is about leading and managing projects within our purchasing organization it is of high importance that you have previous experience of project management or within purchasing in a cross-functional environment. We also believe it is important that you have a business understanding, are proactive and try to stay ahead. Other key criteria for the role:
University degree in Business, Engineering or related field
Project Management or Purchasing experience
Ability to coach and lead in a challenging environment
Strong Composure and Integrity
Strong team player, self-starter and the ability to take initiatives
Fluent English, written and spoken
