Poolia are recruiting an experienced and business-oriented project manager for Securitas.
The position is full time and based in Malmö.
Publiceringsdatum2010-05-13Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will be responsible for supporting the business organisations in Europe with field reporting tools such has handheld computers (PDA's), bar code scanners, positioning and communication equipment. These are examples of tools that our guards use to produce high quality security services for our customers. You will also work with application and systems that link the reporting tools to the customer such as Customer Web portals and Guard Reporting Systems. Your task will be to link the local requirements with our internal and external developers. We are looking for a business oriented person that understands the services industry rather than a technician.
The Field Reporting Tools Project Manager will coordinate the development of our tools and applications and head the Field Reporting Tools European Development Partnership in which the countries development needs is coordinated. It is also important to work actively to expand the usage of the tools and applications throughout Securitas, to stay informed of the needs and status in the countries and to inform of the development done. It is an interactive position where communications skills are important. In order to be able to give the best service to the users the Field Reporting Tools Project Manager needs to acquire knowledge of the processes and data models involved in security service production.
You will be responsible for keeping Securitas updated of the technological development. Over time you will have the possibility to build up your position as Securitas European Field Reporting Tools expert. To do so it is important to interact with present and potential international technology suppliers in, for example, negotiations. Internally the integration between field reporting applications, administrative and other production processes will be important to develop the information we can deliver to our customers.
The position will require travels of approximately 80-100 days per year in Europe. You will report to the VP for IT/IS and Production Tools and be a part of the team of Production Tool experts.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We believe you have a Bachelor's or Master's degree with focus either on administration/management or technology, and that you have 5-10 years of experience. Experience of the service industry is a plus.
As a professional you are more a businessman than a technician and you know Swedish and English well, both written and spoken. It is an advantage if you have experience in project management.
As a person you are focused, responsible and have an understanding of service production. You enjoy problem solving and have an analytical skill as well as a business oriented mind . You know how to make the internal and external customers' life easier. To succeed in the position we hope that you are a person who collaborates easily with others, enjoy traveling and keeping a close customer relationship with the international offices.
