Parts & Service is a function within Quality & Customer Satisfaction (Q&CS) at Volvo Buses. We are responsible for Increase uptime and increase profitability for the bus owners. The main sites are located in Sweden, Poland, Mexico, India and Brazil. We want to make a difference by being there for our colleagues and our customers and by providing uptime and reliable tools and information for short lead-time at dealers and workshops. All over the world. Every day.
Order Office & Project Management is a global team of 12 Project Managers within the Parts & Service organization that is responsible for securing the aftermarket deliveries in projects from our functions: Service Market Products, Spare Parts Engineering & Information, Service Engineering & Information Management, Diagnostics & Embedded Systems and Global Service Training.
We are now seeking an experienced Project Manager who has the drive and passion to contribute to Volvo Buses profitability and who is ready to take some action and be a part of creating our future.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Your main focus will be to manage the aftermarket project team by proactively leading, driving and following-up the aftermarket delivery of the projects according to the DVP project handbook and decided support processes. You will also represent aftermarket in the project management team lead by the CPM (Chief Project Manager) or PML (Product Maintenance Leader) and take an active role in developing future ways of working, with the end user and customer mindset.
The work is done in close cooperation with colleagues at Parts and Service, Global Product Development, Group Trucks Technology-Aftermarket Technology (GTT-AMT) and other functions within Volvo Group.

Required knowledge/experience
To be successful in your new role we want you to have the following knowledge/experience:
BSc degree in engineering or equivalent
Five years experience in project management in automotive industry
Ability to coach and lead in a challenging environment
Ability to manage stakeholder relationships in a positive way
Proven track record in delivering vs. set targets at agreed time
Knowledge about SAFe/Agile ways of working
Great communication skills in Swedish and English, verbally and in writing
Understanding of the aftermarket business and workshop environment and needs
Service minded and comfortable to work both independently and in teams
Solution focused
Eager to learn and work with your own development
