www.fingerprints.com Our Algorithm Development team is looking for a self-motivated and ambitious Project Coordinator Biometric Data Collection to join us in developing future fingerprint systems for mobile phones and other portable devices. FPC is a leader in the development of capacitive fingerprint sensors and designs the whole system, from advanced custom silicon devices and microelectronic packaging, to algorithms and software for fingerprint recognition and applications on the target devices.
The Role
The role Project Coordinator Biometric Data Collection belongs to the department Algorithm Development at Research and Development. You are responsible for the planning of different work packages, coordination of prerequisites and follow-up of activities. Example of work items are managing data collection for biometric evaluations and laboratory work. You will be part of a winning team in a positive atmosphere in a growing company. As the coordinator you will have the opportunity to frequent communicate with other highly skilled engineers across the organization and also a possibility to influence our ways of working.
You will also:
• Drive work on legal aspects of data acquisitions together with the company's legal counsel and other qualified colleagues.
• Provide training in data acquisitions at different FPC sites.
The work location is Gothenburg, but it includes frequent travels sometimes with short notice between different FPC sites within the Scandinavia and internationally (e.g. US and China).
Your Background
You are a Master of Science in Engineering with major in chemistry, electronics, physics, computer science or the equivalent, as well as a few years of documented experience as project coordinator, object, attribute or project leader in a technical domain.
Required qualifications
• You are a true coordinator and love to get things done. Documented 2-4 years of experience as coordinator/object/attribute/project leader or other leading role in a technical domain.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Able to drive assignments independently and to self-manage priorities.
• Experience and understanding of system development for complex systems.
