Project Coordinator
As a Design Project Coordinator you assist the Design Project Leader and his/her team in creating a creative and effective team. By using our standardized process, you will also help foster a coaching role that helps the business to strive forward. You have great people skills together with an intercultural understanding. You need to be a strong team player with high adaptability and be able to take initiatives when needed. Enthusiastic and flexible with a proactive, helpful and open attitude is highly valued. You are proactive and like to improve things within your (or other) working areas.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Support Geely Design Sweden Design Project Leaders in their daily management of the Design projects.
- Coordinate and plan design actions and deliverables within respective project(s) according to decided product development process, content, time/logic plan and budget in close cooperation with Design Project Leaders.
- Follow-up on activities and deliveries, and consolidate the input, as input to project gates/milestones
- Support the Design project team(s).
- Perform duties and preparations related to Design Directors Review.
- Manage the Level 2 time plan for each Design Project, based on the VPP and include the short to mid-term Physical Modelling milling plan.
- Consolidate an overview of all deliveries within the Design Project Timing Portfolio
- Manage change requests and act accordingly by review and update of plans
- Other operation supports required
Some travel will be expected.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience from support functions in an office environment, automotive experience is a plus.
- Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite, especially MS Project and Excel
- SAP is a plus.
- Knowledge of a design studio's principles, practices and procedures
- Fully proficient in English and Mandarin, both written and verbally
Management capabilities:
- Ability to coordinate and communicate business and design related activities into project plans.

You will organizationally belong to the Design Business Office function and report to Senior Manager Business Office.
Interviews with members of the Project Leader Team will be performed as well as HR and Senior Manager Business Office.
We will perform ongoing selection during the application period, and the position might be filled before the application dead line.
