We are looking for another bright light in Business Area Lighting and IKEA Home Smart.
We are 120 home furnishing enthusiasts who develop lighting and smart tech products for a beautiful and more convenient life at home. ABOUT THE JOB
As Project Controller in IKEA Home Smart, you are part of the product offer development teams. You will contribute to establishing new business and developing new products in the product area of speakers. You will lead the projects together with the Product Developer as well as planning and follow-up. You work actively with project management to ensure that the team delivers to project ambition and time plan. Together with the team you stay on top of deviations and you will ensure the team's compliance to processes, working methods and business rules.
This is a temporary position of 12 months.
ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT
Your main responsibilities as Project Controller are:
• Responsible for, together with the Product Developer, taking the lead in projects
• Lead planning and following up according to project goal, time plan, KPI:s, budget and other resources
• Ensure alignment within the project team, facilitate meetings and in regards to communication keep both internal and external stakeholders updated on the projects
• Administration of the range in the system
• In the matrix, you will contribute to the development of working methods and tools
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a goal-oriented team player with the communicative ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and engage people by creating a passion for objectives, plans and processes. You take initiate and have the courage to question and challenge. When facilitating meetings you drive the agenda in a way that leads to decisions and conclusions. You have the ability to analyse, draw conclusions and to understand how decisions and processes impact the totality. Experience from working within IKEA is meritable.
In the role of Project Controller we expect you to have:
• Experience from leading or coordinating projects
• Project management and leadership skills
• An academic degree within Business Administration, Project Management, Economics or equivalent
• Knowledge from Office and project management tools
• Fluent in English
