Northvolt's Battery Systems business unit is developing, industrializing and producing energy storage solutions targeted at the grid storage, industrial equipment and portable electrical equipment. Our solutions range from modular components to complete scalable systems. We offer a range of building blocks, packs and racks as well as complete scalable systems to support various battery business needs.
Northvolt's Battery Systems has launched a new Program for the mass production of battery modules and racks and covering of the following workstreams:
• Product design
• Product and process prototyping and testing
• Supply of production materials and capex equipment
• Product and process industrialization
• Manufacturing process engineering & factory design
• Factory construction and commissioning
About the position
This scope of work has been split between three PODs (cross-functional team of dedicated resources working together with focus, speed and strong sense of accountability to achieve a common objective, within time and budget):
Product development POD: development, testing, validation and certification of the product (module, rack module, DCPM)
Industrialization POD: industrialization of the product (module, rack module) and its manufacturing processes, specify and manage the supply of the prototyping and series production equipment, propose modifications to the Battery Systems prototyping and mfg footprint to fit the Program needs, and design the factory
Factory Construction POD: Construction of the factory where the series production of the module and rack module) will happen.
Each POD will be led by a duo of a Technical Lead and a Program Manager. The Program Manager will be responsible, among other tasks, for the activity planning, time scheduling, and budgeting for that POD.
As Program Manager - PMO, you will be responsible to ensure the consistency at Program level of the execution plan (including business case and time schedule), and to monitor that the actual execution follows the plan, through regular and effective project control (cost, time, progress, documentation, risk, internal interfaces)
About you
We are looking for a seasoned manager with at least 8 years of experience. More over, we would like to see you be highly organized and result driven, have strong analytical skills, be conscientious and attention to details, have a can do-attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit, have the ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, have excellent time management, and good people leadership.

Location: Stockholm.
Type of employment: full time consultant, hired by Lernia but working for Northvolt.
Appointment: as soon as possible.
