Contribute to the production process as well prototype assembly and testing of high-quality products.
Perform routine maintenance and service on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
Troubleshoot technical issues, providing timely solutions to keep our customers satisfied.
Help refurbish and maintain crucial equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve processes and product quality.
Play a key role in delivering solutions that make a difference in healthcare and research.

About the position
The Production & Service technician at Symcel will be a key member of the Operation and Engineering team and play a central role with much hands-on work within production and service of current products as well as with prototyping in new development projects in close collaboration with the Engineering Team.
You will work within manufacturing during production periods throughout the year where GMP is applied. You will also work within service and refurbishment which entails a lot of problem solving, possible customer contact and travels. Documentation and quality assurance are essential aspects of the role and should be conducted in parallel with the continuous work.
About You
We believe you have a genuine interest for hands-on tasks and assembly, coupled with a drive for problem-solving and a solid grasp of technology. Your adaptability, effective communication, and structured work approach shine through in your current hands-on involvement in either production, product development, or technical service. You are equally comfortable working autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
Essential Responsibilities
Within Production:
Manufacture, calibrate, and test instruments in production according to GMP.
Document the production results and coordinate with production manager.

Within Service:
Be part of service process, both in house in the form of refurbishment and at customer site when needed.
Report to service manager regarding the service process.

Within Engineering:
Build prototypes for next generation instruments.
Coordinate with engineering team in planning for build, test, and troubleshooting
Collaborate closely with team members and contribute to improvements and solutions to meet defined goals.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
Experience from working as e.g. Production Technician/Assembler, or Service technician
Practical Problem Solver: Proficient in practical problem-solving and skilled in precision work with attention to detail
Self-motivated: Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving goals and taking the initiative.
Effective communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Good documentation practices: Demonstrates sound practices in documenting work and processes.
Cross functional Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, prioritizing customer needs, cost-efficiency, and the reliability of solutions.
Proficient in English: Confident in both written and spoken English.
Goal Driven: A goal-driven and proactive personality that seeks to achieve objectives.
Travel flexibility: Willing and able to travel at least 3-4 days per month if required.
Driver's license (B): Holds a valid driver's license (Category B)
These qualification and skills will be essential for success in the role and contribute to the efficient operation and growth of the company.
Meriting
Experience from Production and Service
Familiar with GMP, ISO 13485 or ISO 9001
Experience from Medtech/biotech/IVD industry
