Engineering is rapidly growing and we are looking for new talent to join our Productivity & Platforms Domain!
What you'll get to do
As an engineer in the Productivity Infrastructure team you will operate and manage the foundation of our mission critical systems supporting our ways of working: Atlassian Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket. You will be involved in managing and optimizing AWS operations for these systems. You will work closely with other teams in the Productivity & Platform Domain to ensure that we deliver the best productivity experience possible to our internal customers around the world.
Some of the things you'll get to work with
Continuously improve both the underlying infrastructure in AWS as well as the central system configurations.
Ensure our Atlassian applications are managed for high Availability, Reliability, Performance and Security in a swiftly growing environment.
Setting up non-production environments and carrying out test scenarios.
Create and maintain actionable monitoring and alerting.
Support other Productivity teams in larger efforts implementing requested business processes and with end user support when needed.
Scope and implement gold standard solutions that are easy to understand and reusable.
Identify issues and risks proactively.
Take ownership of incidents, with hard debugging and reverse engineering tasks.
Documenting and sharing knowledge instinctively.
Implement Infrastructure as code.
Use CI/CD Tools for automation tasks.
You should have
You are highly experienced in AWS architecture, infrastructural design and operations. You consider yourself as a Linux system administrator and know your way around tasks related to this.
You master the most common AWS Services like: EC2, RDS, EFS, CloudWatch, Lambda and have experience in setting up these services using Terraform and CloudFormation. You have knowledge of integrating systems and you build automations like; AMI pipelines, CloudFormation updates, termination life-cycles using CI/CD, like Jenkins.
Either way, you thrive when there are many things going on in an ever changing environment.
