As Product Test Engineer you are part of an international product development team located in Apeldoorn (the Netherlands) and Gothenburg (Sweden) that is responsible for the validation of the Integrated Air Traffic Control Suite (I-ATS). I-ATS is an advanced suite built up with more than 50 different software components distributed over various computers. As a Product Test Engineer you will perform tests at the system level to validate that the combination of all the components work according to the specification, both from a functional level and a performance level.
In the role as Product Test Engineer, your responsibilities will be:

Define, prepare and execute formal tests

Perform free tests to verify robustness and completeness of all the functions
*
Expanding the automated tests to support the continuous integration process.

Advise on requirements definition

Advise projects in acceptance trajectories
*
First root-cause analysis of reported problems
*
Coordination of reported issues with developers
Your profile
*
Higher degree in a relevant subject or relevant experience
*
A Software Engineer background skilled in e.g. Python, Java script, Shell scripting and an interest in testing
*
Preferably knowledge of test automation frameworks
*
Knowledge of system testing
*
Communicate fluently in English, both verbally and written and preferably in Dutch
*
Knowledge of Linux and preferable of networks and system hardening
*
Understanding of Air Traffic Management (preferable)
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
