About the job
As a Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in scaling our Digital People Experience portfolio with a focus on creating a global Alfa Laval people journey. Your initial role will be as a Product Owner for the Digital Workplace team with the potential to grow in more areas. Joining a dynamic team, you'll focus on operational excellence while collaborating across the full value stream, ensuring one prioritized backlog for the teams.
You will be responsible for bridging the gap between strategy and operations, managing stakeholders, and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment. Your work will focus on the operational stability and development of our smart office initiatives, including AI and smart IoT technologies. You will play a crucial role in managing the DevOps cycle and working with an agile team to drive innovation. We are looking for a leader who can quickly ingest and align existing strategies and begin implementing new solutions within the first year.
This position is a full-time role, available in Stockholm, Lund or Krakow, with the hiring manager based in Stockholm.
Key tasks:
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders, bridging the gap between business and technology.
* Work with the Product Managers and Solution Architects to ensure operations and scale of a growing solution portfolio.
* Manage and prioritize the team backlog, addressing priorities, dependencies, and resource challenges.
* Lead and support an Agile development team of experts.
* Support, communicate, maintain global guidelines.
We are looking to hire the right person, so we are keen on hiring for potential rather than just experience. We believe that a growth mindset and strong leadership skills are the most important assets for this position.
Who you are
You are an exceptional communicator, both verbally and visually, thriving in the intersection of business and IT with the ability to present complex information clearly and inspire others. You are a natural and proactive leader who can effectively manage stakeholders and your team in a maturing context. As a strategic thinker, you are adept at bridging strategy with day-to-day operations and prioritizing effectively in a rapidly changing environment. You are a collaborative team player with a hunger to learn and adapt, focused on your professional and personal development. We want someone who is ready to grow with us.
What you know
You have proven experience in a leadership role within an IT environment, with a solid understanding of the DevOps cycle and how software works. Experience working within an agile team is a must, as is leading change management. The ideal candidate will also possess proficiency in both technology and business, complemented by excellent communication and presentation skills. While a university bachelor's degree is a minimum requirement (a master's degree in computer science would be a plus), what truly sets you apart is your experience with digital office solutions and user personas. Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or SAFe and prior project management experience is advantageous. You must be fluent in English. While not mandatory, experience in real estate, IoT, and facilities is highly valued.
What's in it for you?
If you're looking for a company where you can grow and make an impact, this is the place for you. We offer a challenging position in an open, friendly and innovative environment where we help each other to develop and create value. You'll work alongside a talented team of professionals, collaborating to address complex challenges and drive innovation. Your work will have a true impact for a sustainable future and Alfa Laval's future success.
