We are looking for world class talent to join our team of over 200 people at our R&D Centre in Malmö, who are working on the future of IoT, to deliver outstanding user experiences, on both physical and digital products and services.
Job purpose
The Product Owners main target is to fulfill the need of the user group he/she represents; in this case it is Lead management. You make sure that our sales leads needs are met, being responsible for the team backlog, prioritizing and accepting stories, and representing the customer to the team.
In the Lead area we work mainly with 3rd party systems which mean that a lot of communication is done with vendors on different levels, the internal stakeholders from the business side as well as project Managers and Product Owner for other business areas.
In this role you are not directly connected to development team and since it is an external system the need of technical knowledge is less important. On the other hand you need to have very strong business knowledge and be able to negotiate and communicate with vendors, know your business to keep an eye on the overall market to see what is coming next. At the same time you need to be able to coordinate and lead the business stakeholders towards the same goal and help them find what they need.
This is a full-time role, based in Malmö.
Main responsibilities
Analysis
- Lead requirements gathering as needed - consulting with product management, users, and other stakeholders.
- Document story details based on the activities towards the vendors
Support
- Responsible for 2nd line support
Stakeholder
- Negotiation with external vendors
- Participate in projects - assuring that needs of the user group is fulfilled.
- Support the Product Manager in the direction of the product
- Feedback on changes or limitations to stakeholders during implementation phase
- Handle requirements from operations
Sprint
- Attends status meetings with vendor and internal stakeholders
- Answer questions from vendor developers and clarifies requirements.
- Write acceptance criteria.
- Documents the new feature for implementations and release notes.
Required qualifications
- Experience in working with application/system development requirements
- Possess understanding of different business flows in an organization
- Experience of working with external vendors
- Solid communication and negotiation skills
