Market segments: Channel Products (Filters, Arms, Fans, Hose & Cable Reels etc.)
As a Product Market Manager for Nedermans' Channel Products segment, you will be responsible for ensuring that our product offering and value proposition towards our distributors & resellers, are attractive and competitive. You will develop the outbound marketing activities and craft the messaging & positioning for the products and services offered in this segment. You will conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into customer values and benefits is crucial. In your role as a Product Market Manager you will be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales and product development
The assignment
Directs the marketing activities of one or more products or product lines within the organization. Oversees product lifecycles from initial proposal through production and sales. Identifies trends in the market segments and suggests new products or product enhancements. Involved in producing product projections in order to ensure that the strategic direction of a product is in line with overall company goals and objectives. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of experience in the field. The candidate should, preferably, have a background and experience from product market and/or portfolio management within a consumer products industry, and be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to Senior Vice President Corporate Development and is located in Helsingborg.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop an attractive & competitive product offering & value proposition.
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates Nedermans' products in the market
• Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
• Product launch - plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
• Market intelligence - be the expert on our direct competitors as well as our customers, how they buy and their buying criteria.
• Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
Requirements
• 10+ years of proven product marketing experience
