Albany Engineered Composites is a rapidly growing supplier of highly engineered composite parts for the aerospace industry.
The primary business of Albany International AB Halmstad (Sweden) is supplying the expanding global paper industry with consumable, technologically sophisticated products called paper machine clothing. Paper machine clothing is used to produce all grades of paper from lightweight sanitary tissue to heavyweight container board. These custom-designed engineered fabrics, essential to the paper making process, are manufactured from monofilament and synthetic fiber materials. This basic technology is also utilized for other industrial process applications.
Albany International AB, is now looking for a product Manger Drying.
in the dryer section, the paper sheet travels around large-diameter heated cylinders, where remaining water is removed by evaporation. Dryer fabrics hold the sheet in close contact with the cylinders through the dryer section. Dryer fabrics must be heat resistant, rugged, and designed for both drying efficiently and evenly. Dryer fabrics can last much longer than forming and pressing fabrics normally from 6 to 18 months. Albany International leads the industry in the design and application of dryer products introducing advanced and patented seam concepts, active air handling, and hydrolysis-resistant fabrics.
Now we are searching for a technical skilled person with a good commercial understanding and experience from the pulp- and paper industry.
Position description for Product Manager Drying
The position is based in Albany's facilities in Halmstad (Sweden) and reports to the Director Applications Eurasia. The Product Manager is responsible for the dryer fabrics in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. The role will with knowledge and technical understanding support the sales- and service department in customer related issues and will hold presentations and training within the product area. Further the Product Manager is responsible for applications and design within the product area and will act as link between marketing, production and product development. The role will also follow up current products and the pilot testing of new products. The Product Manager will travel with and support sales in customer meetings on regular basis.
Requirements
• MSc in engineering or equal is required. You should also have experience in a Product Management position in the nordic market. You should have experience working in an industrial organisation in a customer focused position. The position requires that you have good IT knowledge and SAP experience is a merit. Further you should be accustomed to travel and have experience in sales. Fluent in English both written and verbally is a requirement.

To be successful in the position you should be self driven and have a positive approach. Further you should have an ability engage people and communicate in a positive manner with both internal and external stakeholders. You should also be able to structure and organize your work and communicate technical matters in a successful way. The position requires that you have a good business understanding as well as a broad technical knowledge.
