The Power Supply section within Electric and Electronic System Engineering is responsible for generation, storage and to provide electrical energy to the car. It is a section with three sub-groups, Analysis &Verification, System & Components and you will be a part of the Component group. Recent years with strong focus on CO2-reduction has led to an increase of features within the sections responsibility. Our work and products have a large effect on future research & development and this means that we have great challenges and many possibilities ahead of us to develop our products for coming years.
As Product Manager for 12V batteries within the Section Power Supply you will be responsible for development, requirement management and secure project delivery of 12V batteries, while also lead technical discussions with our suppliers and follow up warranty data on the field. Your technical competence, as well as your ability to manage projects, should be strong so that you can make your own decisions and technical conclusions. Your mindset should be visionary and with an aim of finding solutions.

Main responsibilities

• Delivery responsible for 12V batteries into projects according to project plans.
• Plan and lead 12V battery development.
• Follow up warranty data from the field.
• Liaison with internal attribute leaders.
• Establish new and maintain today's supplier contacts.
• Cooperation with responsible purchaser to establish supplier plan.
• Establish design guidelines.

Required qualifications

• Experience from product development
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Applied Physics
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Meritorious is experience from Battery development
• Meritorious is experience from automotive industry

Personal qualities

• High integrity
• Business oriented and confident
• The role will implicate a broad span of contacts why you should have a strong ability to communicate and to convey results in a structured and understandable way
