The role
Disruptive Materials is an expanding spin-off from Uppsala University commercializing Upsalite is a new material for cosmetics with a unique structure and qualities can be utilized in a wide range of applications. As Product Manager will you be working with the product portfolio, prioritize among business opportunities and help the R&D where to focus their work. Your responsibilities are:
• Own and develop the product portfolio within BU Cosmetics
• Support sales with technical knowledge regarding Upsalite
• Produce market materials supporting the sales process
• Manage the tech-transfer process for helping customers using Upsalite as a component in their production e.g. formulation etc
• Occasionally Project leader for new product development
• Member of the "new technologies team" that are looking at innovative concepts for BU Cosmetics.
Your profile
We are looking for a person with a degree within science or technology, chemistry, material sciences, engineering or a similar field, and has an interest in cosmetics, skincare or makeup. You will need the technical knowledge of formulation of emulsions. Preferably do you have experience of product development within cosmetics or similar goods industry.
