Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Do you want to have a key role in shaping the journey ahead for Scania Buses and Coaches? Do you enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment and do you wish to be a part of a dedicated and supportive team? Then we are looking for you.

The mission of the Product Management team is to create long term value for our customers by conceptualizing and bundling Scania's product and service portfolio into competitive offers. We are now strengthening our team with a Pricing Manager.

As Pricing Manager you will have global responsibility for the gross component price lists for all buses and coaches and thereby the pricing of new and present components. You will lead the Price Council Meeting, where you will present and propose price levels based on e.g. customer value, function and cost as well as the market situation, Scania strategy and present price structure. This requires a cross functional approach and close cooperation with colleagues both within Buses & Coaches as well as purchasing, R&D, production and our distributors in different markets. You are also responsible for the pricing of s-orders.

Other tasks within the role as Pricing Manager are:

• support the KB organisation with information related to price, cost and profitability
• together with the Area Managers ensure that the business units have logical and functioning net price lists
• as responsible for pricing, represent Buses and Coaches in price issues towards other functions within Scania
• update price systems and sales support tools
• develop the role by taking initiatives to reduce waste and add value

We believe you are an thorough, analytical, flexible and structured person with good commercial skills. You have the ability to dig into details while having an understanding of the big picture. Bus and coach product knowledge is also valuable. You are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Most probably you have a commercial or technical degree. You are fluent in English and if you master additional languages it is considered a merit.
