hela Sverige Postdoctoral Position: Steering cellular differentiation by combinatorial transcription factor expression

We have an exciting opportunity for you to conduct independent cutting-edge work in state-of-the-art laboratories while teaming with other AstraZeneca scientists. You'll also be able to collaborate with a leading academic advisor who will provide further support and guidance. Additionally, we'll encourage you to attend and present at international scientific conferences and publish high-profile papers.
Your major responsibilities
• Constructing a genomically modified cell library from human iPS cells
• Characterizing the cell library inserts via next generation sequencing
• Initiating cell differentiation and identifying those transcription factor combinations, leading to positive cell clones by FACS analysis
• Collaborating closely with internal experts in genome modifications and external academic advisors
• Communicating novel findings to the scientific community at conferences and meetings
• Publishing scientific papers in high quality journals
Minimum experience
• A PhD-level education (or equivalent)
• The ability to work equally well as an individual or as part of a team
• Expertise in modifying genomic DNA
• A solid knowledge of developmental biology and the mechanisms regulating cell differentiation processes
• Strong cell biology lab skills
Preferred experience/requirements
• A deep interest in applying cell and molecular biology tools
